Daily Habits For Mental Health

how your daily habits can simultaneously keep you progressing, grounded, and Happy.

Daily habits are critical for making consistent progress toward our goals, but have you ever considered that they are also critical for our mental health, staying grounded, and feeling our best?

If you create healthy habits that serve you, and keep coming back to them every single day - especially on the tough days, especially on the days you don’t feel like doing the work - this will not only keep you on track to achieving your goals, but it will enable you to more easily navigate the difficult, uncertain, and overwhelming days. How? Because they serve as an anchor for your day, help you maintain your equilibrium, and prevent you from falling apart despite chaos, disruption, and emotions.

Everyone should have at least one non-negotiable action that, no matter how busy you are, how tired you are, where you are (traveling or not), you will make the time to do this thing(s) that keeps you grounded.

Mine are MOVEMENT and MEDITATION.

I don’t go a day without these two. Movement often times is just a walk, and meditation can be 5 minutes if that’s all I can handle or find time for that day. These habits don’t have to be big time commitments and they make all the difference in the world for my mental health and my personal evolution.

What do you need to feel your best every day?

Commit to making it a daily habit. Keep coming back to it and keep building.
